Railroad Gallery
Photos I have taken over the years which I think have some artistic content. You be the judge.
- Sussex Railroad Bridge Abutments: These bridge abutments carried trains from Sussex County to the connection with the Morris & Essex Railroad below Waterloo Village until 1901. Another view is here.
- Newfoundland Station: Even with people all around, I managed to find an angle that included only the Newfoundland station, an old blue pickup and the semaphore. The fall colors are wonderful as a backdrop.
- Monroe Crossing: I always wanted to get a picture of the 142 at this location. It was very kind of the owners of the barn to paint it for me. The only thing that could improve this shot is if the crossing flashers were still crossbucks.
- Fall Steam: I took this picture just west of the Rt. 15 Crossing (not Woodruff's Gap.) I'm pretty sure it was the first year they ran the steam fall foliage runs down here.
